Your donation can help people across our aged care, homelessness, foster care, and counselling services.
How your donation helps
We support around 50,000 people each year, providing essential services to vulnerable Queenslanders. By donating new and high-quality second hand goods, you can make a meaningful impact on someone’s life, including an aged care resident, a child in foster care, or a person facing homelessness.
Your donated goods can go a long way in helping to meet the needs of vulnerable people, supporting their wellbeing and bringing them comfort and happiness.
Residents in aged care homes
Bring joy and connection to those in our care by donating the following items:
- Board games and puzzles
- Find-a-word and Sudoku books
- Perfume or cologne
- Calendars and diaries
- Books and photo frames
- Hand creams and toiletries
- Wrapped chocolates and gift hampers
Older people in home care
Support the wellbeing of older people receiving home care by donating items including:
- Non-perishable food hampers
- Hygiene hampers (shampoo, soap, conditioner)
- Home fragrances, candles, or oil diffusers
- Hand creams, cologne, or perfume
- Books, puzzles, and board games
- Pet food for cats and dogs
Children in foster care and their carers
Help children thrive by giving them access to new learning and experiences, with:
- Vouchers (Target, Big W, Myer, Woolworths, Coles)
- Theme park or movie tickets
- Sporting equipment and toys
- Lego, puzzles, and board games
- Books and educcational materials
Women and young people experiencing homelessness
Support those rebuilding their lives by donating items such as:
- Gift cards (clothing stores, supermarkets, general retailers)
- Home starter packs for those moving into safe accommodation
- Cleaning packs: Washing powder, toilet cleaner, dishwashing liquid, sponges, cleaning cloths
- Home essentials packs: Crockery, cutlery, tea/coffee mugs, bedding, bath towels.
